I just want to say “Thank You”. Thank you for being part of my community, for reading this email, for reminding me WHY I do the work I do…and love it! This is probably my favorite time of year because people are generally so nice to each other. I think it’s something we can do a lot more of!

Happy Thanksgiving to my North American friends. I pray that you have much to be thankful for and are spending the day unplugged from social media (seriously!) and surrounded by people you love or at least like.

Today and every day I begin my day with a moment of gratitude. I’m not kidding! Every day I give thank for all the wonderful people I get to connect with and help. I am grateful that I get to work with people and help them live healthier lives.

As much as I love the holiday season, I also realize that it can be a very lonely and depressing time for some. Suicide rates tend to increase during the holidays and that is heartbreaking. If you or someone you know if have a particularly challenging time, please call and speak with someone. We are all in this together.
