Reputation Is Everything for Success in Your Network Marketing Business

Reputation is everything. The people that understand this will have a thriving business and those that don’t will continue to struggle. People buy your products and become business associates because they trust you. They don’t care about the investment or the product; they buy into you because they trust you. That’s an awesome responsibility which is why you must treasure and appreciate the gift you’ve been given, after all, it is your reputation on the line.

Art Williams once said “trust and respect buy a loyalty that you can never buy with a salary”. This statement is so true, think about your business and what you stand for. The people in your organization need to know that you care about them and their goals and dreams. They need to know that you are totally committed to them and that you see them as more than a potential payday. They want and need leadership and you are that leader. It’s up to you to earn their trust and once you have their trust, they will follow you anywhere. Don’t believe me? What happens when a network marketing company goes out of business? The top leaders move on to another company and within days or weeks they have a couple of hundred people in their down line and are well on their way to the top of the compensation plan. How on earth did they do it? Quite a few people from their former company followed them to their new company, primarily because they trust their leader and that trust come from a solid reputation.

You may be new in business and question how this will work for you. The same principle holds true. You have to stand for something. People don’t like phonies and can spot them a mile away. Be yourself 100% of the time right from the start. Remember that people are looking for you to keep your promise to help them achieve their goals. Help them by setting the example of how to build their business the right way. Set the example by being the leader they desire, that means not asking anyone to do something that you would not do yourself. You see, people assume that you are doing what’s right and the second that you contradict that thought, your reputation becomes questionable.

People will follow you to the ends of the earth once they know what you stand for; because they see you as someone they are proud to call their leader.
