Social Media Marketing Tip #17-How To Create A Rockin Blog Banner

by golda on October 13, 2010

The eyes are the window to the soul. You only have one time to make a first impression. Appearances do matter. You’ve heard these statements before right? Well the same statements apply to your blog. When someone comes to your blog, they are critiquing everything about it. The color, your photos, the way you write…everything. If they like it, they come back and if they don’t, well then…

What does your blog header say about YOU?

Does it scream network marketing success?Β  Is it inviting? Does it brand you? Or do you have a plain, bland, faceless, nameless blog header? Successful network marketing mompreneurs know that they MUST use that very valuable piece of internet real estate and make their mark. Grab the attention of their readers and keep them coming back. Watch this video to see how it’s done===>

Some web designers may be upset but if you’re building your business on a budget, know that you can create a slammin blog banner without breaking open your piggy bank πŸ™‚ Now that’s worth a retweet.

If you would do me the honor of visiting my Blog and commenting on what you think I would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day. Paul

Hey Golda!

Yeah I remember when I didn’t have a header at all on my blog, it looked very newbish haha. I love my new header, it’s a great thing to show offline prospects too. They always find it pretty impressive.

Oh hey, by the way, to your question you left on my blog I responded to it. If you go to my newly edited page “Work with Gregory Elfrink” or it might be called “A Red Hot Opportunity” by the time you get there, you’ll learn why I chose that company πŸ™‚

Talk soon golda!

Hi Gregory. I was so happy when I finally learned how to do this and was able to give my blog a face lift. I feel “grown up” now, lol. I’ll have to head back over to your blog to see your response but thank you for stopping by.

Great post. The header and upper left side of your site are 2 of the most valuable pieces of real estate on your site. It is wild to see how most people have a fuzzy and distorted banner, and then no attractive call to action on the left side.

Like you said people need to be captured by the page and given a pleasureable experience immediately when they arrive.

Thanks for sharing!

Rock on Joe. Hopefully even the newest blogger with no internet experience can see how easy it is to get their internet real estate in order for FREE. Thanks for your comment Joe.
