Social Media Marketing Tip #19- 5 Ways To Dress Up Your Blog

by golda on October 21, 2010

I love blogging…in case you can't tell. Did you notice that I added a favicon? That was created for me by the fabulous ProMom Blogger, Mrs. Rhea Brown. What's a favicon? It's a tiny icon that appears next to a web address in many browsers. Don't worry about the pronunciation.  You can say FAVV-uh-con  or FAVE-icon, either which way, you should add one to your blog just because you always want to brand, brand, brand…YOU! Check out the video for some other simple yet effective blog tips!

I also mentioned having your blog hosted elsewhere. Here's a coupon for you in case you want to take me up on that offer. Coupon Code: 421421421421. Now if you found some value in this post can you share your comments below. Thanks, you're the BEST 🙂

Hi Homer and welcome to my blog. Favicon was new to me as well until two weeks ago. Now that I have it I can say that I’m pleased to have another piece of internet real estate. I’m sure that there is a youtube video that can show you how to easily create one. Until next time….
