Why You Need a Mentor To Win

I was on a fabulous morning inspiration call today and the topic of discussion was mentorship. The truth is that everyone needs a mentor if they want to see success in any area of their life. Be it health, spiritual, nutritional, business or finance. This article will focus on why you need a mentor to help you grow your network marketing business.

Every successful business person that I know; and I know quite a few, have or have had a mentor in their life. A mentor is someone who has what you want to have and can help you along the path to achieving those results yourself. Now here is the important thing to remember, you can go about this alone; however, it will take you a lot longer and probably cost you a great deal of money if that is the path you choose to take. A mentor will take years off of your learning curve because you have the ability to tap into their vast knowledge of expertise and experience.

Here’s another interesting fact: the more money people earn, the more money they tend to spend on education and on mentorship. Why would someone who has built a huge and profitable business still have a mentor? To help them continue to grow. Leaders NEVER stop learning and they understand the value of their time so they are willing to pay someone who can help them be the best in the shortest period of time. Now a logical question that you may have is “Why should you pay someone to mentor you?” The answer is pretty simple, they have something that you desire and they worked hard to get it. Their own time may be limited and you want them to share it with you. If you are a good student then you will make your money back in no time.

When you do find the mentor to match your learning style, it’s important that you are coachable. Don’t waste your mentor’s time with your bad habits and wrong thinking. Remember, you want what they want, don’t you? You have to be willing to get uncomfortable because you will be challenged, especially in the game of network marketing.

Still not convinced that you need a mentor? Think about the fact that the majority of people in the network marketing are not having the level of success that they desire. Actually, they may be downright failing at it. The reason being, that most folks try to build their business on their own. Imagine if you had one on one time with someone like Susan Sly, Stormy Wellington, Jeffery Combs or Cedrick Harris. What would that do for your business?

You owe it to yourself to surround yourself with the very best out there. Put your ego aside and watch your bank account grown. If you desire to grow a profitable network marketing business and want to cut your learning curve by years then you should absolutely align yourself with a mentor. It will be one of the best investments that you will ever make.

Mentors are extremely vital to your business & personal success. Mentors train, coach & teach you to take months off your learning curve in this (and any other) industry. Get there faster with a coach. ALL the stars that you know, had someone training them to reach their fullest potential. Great post Golda!
